We own and operate Nösundsgården together with invaluable staff. Together we do our utmost to ensure that you have a good time and enjoy your stay with us. Sometimes we make mistakes, just as sometimes we do things right. Regardless, let us know so we can improve even more.
A little more about us
Marlene, co-owner and manager of the farm
I grew up in Stockholm but have Norrland blood in my veins. Love took me to the west coast and Orust in 2019 and then commuted between living in Haga and here in Nösund. For almost my entire working life I have worked with real estate and on my CV there are previous roles as a landlord, manager and account manager. Service is something I have worked with my entire life and when at 50+ I was no longer desirable in the job market, I finally dared to do something I had always dreamed of... opening a hotel/hostel. My passion (apart from my husband) is the sea and the forest where I get energy and strength. Lisa for the soul is picking mushrooms, fishing and planting and growing flowers, herbs and my own vegetables. Another great passion is cooking and baking.
Johan, partner
I grew up in Bromma just outside Stockholm but have spent my summers and other free time at Nösund since childhood. I am originally an economist but have worked with IT for many years. Today I am a consultant and run my own consulting firm and am involved in large, long and stable projects. My great passion (apart from my wife) is sailing and I like to spend more hours at sea in the summer than on land. In addition to this, I also have a great commitment to the Nösund association where we residents work together to preserve and make a difference. With my great interest in the sea, I hope to be able to contribute to giving our guests many great experiences at sea.
Gaston, the farm dog
I am a cautious but happy and playful guy who loves to poke. In December 2023 I was born in Blekinge but then moved to Nösund where I now live with my family. During the day I mostly hang out with my mom but the highlight of the day is when my master comes home and we go out and throw a ball. My interests are chasing rats, destroying my boy animals, running after things and playing with my friends. I am skeptical of most things but still very curious. Those I don't know are scary types but if you manage to charm me I will always be faithful to you. I am working hard on my CV and right now it says puppy course, sit, lie down, paw and spin on it. Please come by and say hello if you are passing by. PS, I love liver slices and other dog treats!
